Private-Label Packaging Brief for Craft Products

A packaging brief should connect the buyer artwork to a specific product, pack size and destination requirement.

Internal sourcing guidance based on catalog, sample, packaging, production and document-review workflows. Review scope is explained in the editorial policy.

01

Choose the packaging structure

Define pouch, jar, box or counted pack, including dimensions, material preference, closure and display requirements.

02

Prepare production-ready artwork

Supply the correct file format, dimensions, bleed, color references and font handling. Identify the final approved revision clearly.

03

Separate buyer content from required content

List branding, marketing copy and design preferences separately from barcodes, warnings, country information and other market-driven fields.

04

Approve a packed sample

Review the actual product inside the proposed pack. Check fill level, readability, sealing, barcode scan and carton presentation.

The buyer remains responsible for approving market-specific label content. Packaging capability does not create a blanket compliance guarantee.
